Architectural Sheet Metal: Ornamental Copper Restoration & Replication

NJ Transit Ferry Terminal
Hoboken, New Jersey
Thursday, October 11, 2007
10:00am to 3:30pm

A hands-on seminar in the copper fabrication workshop of Schtiller & Plevy, on-site at the 1907 Hoboken Ferry Terminal, currently under restoration by New Jersey Transit.

Program and demonstrations will include review of the SMACNA’s Architectural Sheet Metal 6th Edition Manual, as well as discussion of custom fabrication and restoration of ornamental copper cornices and cladding, roof drainage, flashings, louvers, wall penetrations and underlayments.

The extended workshop, including morning coffee and box lunch, will be held at the landmark Erie - Lackawanna Ferry Terminal on the Hoboken waterfront.
