Thats an interesting air compressor arrangement on that 124. Where did it come from that they needed that much air? Most tank engines seem to do just fine with a single stage compressor. Or was it added on later in the locomotive's life, simply because it was available? |

I used the 4 3/10 sellers that had the new nozzle on it all day today without any problems. That thing worked like a charm. Now if only it had the quick acting water valve... I also can't get over how neat that eccentric lubrication system is. It makes so much sense! I think of an upside down cow milker when I see it. |
