Over the past year, the Helton family of Bristol, Virginia has been restoring a gas-mechanical locomotive obtained from the Tuckahoe Valley RR last year. We've been test running it since mid-July. On Sunday, September 23, we operated our very first double header with our original locomotive, #5, in the lead. Here are a couple of photos.

Also, here's a youtube video of GCRR #16 on one of it's first test runs.

That is quite an impressive little operation you've got going there! I am impressed with your ingenuity in building a very nice railroad.

Later!
