Interesting Greenfield Village view of the Edison engine, minus tender. Said to be rebuilt in the 1920s from an ancient 0-4-0.

This one was once souped up with modern appliances to pull Henry's private car, then backdated to original appearance. Is there an attempt to make it steam again?

Reconstructed roundhouse, using some parts of one at Marshall, Michigan:

The Edison was rebuilt in 1932 by the Ford Rouge shops and later around 1970 by Keystone Light Rail. When it was a Manchester 0-4-0, it worked the Edison Portland Cement facility in NJ.

I wonder what is happening with the locomotive that came to the Ford Museum from the Illinois Railway Museum?

I think it is a 2-8-0 and was cosmetically restored before it left Union? I imagine that it is on static display at the Ford Museum now?
