I suspect a transcription error. Soo steam was dead by early '55, except for a couple of fan trips, but I don't recall ever reading that 735 pulled any trips. I suspect the correct date is 1951.

By the way, this is the engine that CP wanted to bury in Minot.

So, we know that they didn't bury the 4-6-2, but how is the restoration of the 735 coming? Was the asbestos actually removed? Shelter built? There has not been much news since those first reports.
