In the past, the Grand Canyon Railway has favored a "family" look to their locomotives. One would expect that 539 will get the same treatment to "beautify" her as was done with the other locomotives (#18, #29 and #4960). Don C. |

I rode the GCRR in July, and it was back on the frame with tender attached, sitting outside of the shops. I got a good photo of it as we passed by it, will try to post, but it pretty much looks the same as it does in this photo, just with all the correct parts in place. The people there told me it would quite some time before they got around to her... |
