From 2002. Nice 4-4-0, probably built using patterns from California Disneyland 4-4-0s of 1955.

Actually, it was built by the British firm Severn Lamb in 1993 as their number 14358. While must of Severn Lamb's output has been steam outline locomotives (I rode behind one the other day at the Fort Worth Zoo); at least six of their 4-4-0s were actual steam engines, of which this is one of them.

Another one was recently purchased by the City of Cincinnati (I think, Doug knows for sure) for an Amusement Park train being built for a park in their city.

The one pictured above - and the two others built for opening day of then-Euro Disney - were actually built by Hugh Phillips, master mechanic of the Ffestiniog Railway. Severn-Lamb built a fourth for the park later on. All were based off the 5/8-scale California prototypes built in 1955. The standard advertised Severn-Lamb 3' 4-4-0 is the much more robust Harpur design. Only two have been built to date, which are operating near Barcelona. According to Severn-Lamb's project list, these and the one Disney engine are the only 3' steam they've built.

Coincidentally, the Paris project was also one of Bob Harpur's last as a Disney Imagineer.

Thanks for the clarification; the other three steamers built by Severn Lamb were 15in gauge 0-6-2Ts built for railways in the UK from 1970-1974.
