Looking for info on a past railroad in Illinois. Can U Help?

Everyone,

As a boy, I remember going to see my grandparents in Havana, Ill. One time, we went to the New Salem State Park and I remember stopping somewhere along Route 97 and riding a steam train. It might have been 24 inch gauge.

Can anyone tell me anything about that operation. The date is back in the mid 60's.
