Milwaukee Road coach 502 rolled out of MTM's Jackson Street Roundhouse this weekend in a new coat of paint. It awaits lettering but for now it has been moved to one of the display tracks. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=206462 Meanwhile Milwaukee Road branchline caboose/combine 2756 was out for some minor attention. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=206465 History behind each is at www.mtmuseum.org |

I could not find any information of the MTM website about either the 502 or the 2756. You stated that Milwaukee Road combine/caboose 2756 was out for some minor attention. I was hoping to read that she was actually out for some MAJOR attention. Your photo seems to indicate that she needs it. Perhaps I just missed where on the website, the story of the two cars was written. Les |

Click on Jackson Street Roundhouse [on the left] and then equipment and you can find some more details on each car. The combine does need plenty of attention, for right now it had the wood covering the windows, etc. adjusted [or reattached] to keep it a little more sealed up during the winter... Only so much time [and money]... |
