Here at Indianapolis in 1947, said now to be preserved at Scottsburg, Indiana as South Shore 503:

I believe today's Indiana RR shortline is a former Illinois Central line, noted for firing union organizers, one of whom I worked with until recently.

All three cars of this series survived, actually, in their later South Shore configurations. South Shore freight trailer 503 (ex-375) is in Scottsburg, freight trailer 504 (ex-377) is at IRM and line car 1100 (ex-376) is in storage in private hands in Michigan City.
