I grew up there. Many of my friends' fathers worked for the MILW. No one would have thought at that time that all the shops complex, roundhouse, etc., would now be a empty field. Thanks for the memories. |

When was the Deer Lodge roundhouse razed? My understanding was it was still standing several years ago, after the RR was abandoned. |

It was definitely gone by the fall of 1995, when I passed through Deer Lodge and looked for it. |
