Oliver Cromwell at Crewe in 1967: http://abpr2.railfan.net/abprphoto.cgi? ... anColl.jpg Said to be the last steam locomotive overhauled by BR and to have hauled the last steam passenger train for BR. Displayed and operated at Bressingham for many years, withdrawn in 2004 for overhaul at the Great Central Railway, to be completed by 2008. |
