Gentlemen (and any ladies that might read this on a regular basis), I would like to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you the very best for the holiday season. The dialogue on this bulletin board is always stimulating, and reading it gives me great pleasure on a daily basis. I enjoy contributing when I can, and enjoy the dialogue, especially with those who disagree with my point of view. I hope that the new year will see all railway preservation activity move forward with renewed vigor, and I intend to do my part by volunteering at the B&O Railroad Museum whenever possible. I encourage all of you to volunteer at the institution of your choice. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Kevin kevingillespie@usa.net |

Kevin- Everything you said goes ditto for myself (expect the volunteering at B&O thing; I'm a little far away). Reading some of these threads on a regular basis can be the rail-related highlight of one's day. It nice to have intelligent, well-formed, and INTERESTING conversations with those who are as passionate (and many times more so) as you are about a given subject. Thank you all for making my year at the least a little more interesting, at the most much more informative. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, T.J. Gaffney Port Huron Museum tjgaffney@phmuseum.org |
