Does anybody know what happened to the EX LTV f units that were for sale a few years back. I know one of the A units was donated, and two of the B units were sold. What happened to the ramaining ABBA set? Thanks!! Ryan |

A B-unit was also donated. I seem to recall a listing on RailSwap for the remaining F's, but it looked as though they had been purchased through the original broker and were for re-sale...at a greatly higher price than originally offered. Don't see it now, though. |

Going back a few years, someone had agreed to purchase the four (maybe six?) F units from Cliffs-Erie at a pretty hefty price, and then backed out of the deal. Cliffs held on to that price, though, yet later sold some of the Geeps for far less, like at economy car prices. The broker last listing them gave their location as being in Florida, but I don't think they ever left Hoyt Lakes. I too would like to see the last four get a good home ---less that one funky air conditioner, of course. |
