Hello, anyone have information about the Dodge City, Ford & Bucklin RR's current ownership and operation?
A few months ago, I found that the DCF&B had been listed for sale in Trains magazine. The last info I had was that the pike's original founder, Dick Ranney [whom I'd met many times years ago], had sold the line to some shortline investor, and that that individual was the one trying to sell the line once again...
Thanks in advance for any info y'all might have!!
George W. D. F. Barnhardt & Associates' (a railroad equipment broker) web site, http://www.trains-trams-trolleys.com/ lists the railroad as for sale. Listed separately in the
steam for sale section is the former Duluth & NE 2-8-0 that appears to be on the property.
Their web site does not appear to get frequent updates, so take this info with a grain of salt.
