Some interesting runbys taken when the SP 4-8-4's were still hauling the Daylight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32KFWbSI ... re=related Music is a bit much, but the scenes are interesting. Hard to catch the engine numbers of the individual GS-4's. But perhaps someone can identify the 2 story station shown, or the location of the water tank. Last clip features the train accelerating under a bridge with a passerby catching the smoke from the 4-8-4 while a streetcar goes by on the street. How many times did a pedestrian experience a similar happening? And ignore it like this one no doubt did? Les |
