Another train/streetcar museum for Oregon?

This has got to be the fifth or sixth (at least) times Mr. Kirk has gone into a town with big plans, getting the town all excited and leaving town without doing anything. Always someone else's fault.

Mister Kirk, as it is, cannot show his face in Sweet Home after having abandoned his museum effort there for greener pastures.

He's also persona non grata further north after having had a legal run-in with an adjacent transportation company to remain unnamed.

I give this proposal 6-12 months, then he'll find yet another place to move his idea to.

Aside from the horse-drawn car, does this fellow actually have a substantive collection?

I don't think it says that he actually owns the horse car, he just wants to bring one like it .

I do believe that the name "Oregon Transportation Museum" is also registered to someone else.

He says he has a number of small items such as fairboxes from streetcars and the like.

The only items of any size he has is a horse-drawn manure spreader that is quite rusty, and a lead unit of a Palm Springs monorail.

He has in the past made claims about other equipment that he either had been donated or was close to getting, but I have never seen any of it.

Golden Pacific has had more stuff.

Golden Pacific has a fully operation F40PH (418), E9A (36A) and six bi-level cars in the northwest, and other equipment in the east and south.

Don't see how you could compare this to Mr. Kirk who has NOTHING.
