| Post subject: | Mexican Narrow Gauge videos on YouTube |
Gentlemen, Maybe some RyPNers will be interested in this information just copied and pasted from MEXLIST: I stumbled across a series of seven YouTube videos featuring NdeM Narrow Gauge 2-8-0 #297, as well as one providing a very nice "virtual tour" of the Cuautla Station. I apologise, as I am unable to "attach" the direct links, and must instead, provide this "roundabout" connection via < www.ngdiscussion.net > once at that site, "Click" on "Message List", go to Page 19 ( Oct. 12, 2007 postings ) on the list, and find the NdeM #297 post, It should show a series of "still photos" from the videos. Clicking on the "stills" will take you to the YouTube site, and once there, the "sidebar menus" will list the other videos of interest. Again, sorry for the circuitous route, but the videos are "worth the trip"! Hope you enjoy them. Best regards, John A. Craig |

You've got your number scrambled. Search on 279, and you will find a bunch. Try searching on ndem, ndm, locomotora vapor, tren a vapor, etc. |

Yes indeed, the number is scrambled. Excuse me please, I should have caught it, but my eyesight is pretty poor and the letters on my monitor are pretty small. Dr. Craig contacted me the next day and suggested searching for NdeM 279 on Google, which much more directly brings up some YouTube links, but these may not be the same ones. I'm just glad the videos are there, and that the museum is still there, running trains, and somebody is watching.. |

Big mexican narrow gauge! They do bear a resemblance to our #12 as built. Pretty engines all. |
