Shades of Homeland Security, it's good to see idiocy is not relegated to North America. http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/t ... essons.php |

One of the reasons that the NH&I stopped doing the Thomas events was the ever increasing demands of HIT Entertainment to the point that it just wasn't worth all the effort at the end of the day. I was pleased to see that this RR had the gumption to put them in their place. Perhaps if more do the same they'll come back down to earth??? Ross Rowland |

I think that they are not fair to the rr and they use a cardbord steam locomotive. The cost is to high for a family and they will not be back for a train ride when thomas is not there for the rr to profit from. |

Our tickets are on sale for $18.00 per person this year. I presume this change is the same for all events across the country. We're working on trying to include more activities to help ease the sticker shock. David Farlow Whitewater Valley Railroad |

It has gone up to $20 from $18 here in Canada, which I do not understand because the U.S. and Canadian dollars are worth just about par now. The Canadian dollar was in the 70 cent range for years until recently. |

Perhaps he was cross because he didn't have a fan in his hat. |
