After a nine month journey thru two countries and seven railroads, 2381 arrived the Campo Depot at 5:29PM Saturday, and was switched into the yards at Campo of the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum. The locomotive used to work the Santa Fe yard in San Diego - so, she's back home. Routing: CSRM Shop to UP interchange UP Sacramento to Stockton BNSF Stockton to San Diego via Cajon Pass SDIY San Diego to San Ysidro FPN San Ysidro to Tijuana (after importing the locomotive) CZRY de Mexico Tijuana to San Ysidro (after exporting the loco) SDIY San Ysidro to San Diego BNSF San Diego to Barstow to Colton UP Colton to El Centro to Seeley CZRy Seeley to Campo via Carrizo Gorge SD&A Campo to Campo Junction and PSRM WOW! Many thanks to all the railroads involved, CSRM for the donation and TTX for their donation as well. For photos, I recommend: Josh, Jose and I followed the ALCo S2 as it made it's way to Campo today. We saw it near Seely, saw it pass through Coyote Wells (Near Ocotillo), by the Dos Cabezas water tower, and then at High Bridge.
