I got a phone call last night from a gentelman, a friend of his has a Former CNW steel caboose for sale. I do not know of the condition But was told a Hot Dog stand was one opperated out of it. So it may have some modification to the caboose, however it may be great for some one who is looking for a cabin or something to place on their land, or even a cabin at a railway museum. From what I was told he is looking for $1000.00 for the caboose, contact me off list if you are intrested and I will give you the gentelamns contact information. Mike Slater WUJRRC&M Sturtevant, WI |

Hi, Most CNW steel cabooses were bay window style, but the CNW did have some ex-RI wide vision cupola models. If anyone contacts the seller, find out which style it is, if there are any markings, if it is on trucks, and the locations. Thanks, Roger |

What I could find on Google Maps indicated more of a ICRR style. Still for sale? |

Oh shoot, I didn't see that date up there. Solving minor mysteries is a good escape from the insanity of Turkey Day, though. So from my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving! |
