Hi everyone:
The new season has started off very well. During the month of January work had started on several fronts. The work on getting motors ready for car 5645 has begun. We took the first motor apart. The motor shell, end bells and other cast parts were sandblasted to clean them up. The electrical parts were prepared for baking and releading. Everything should be ready in the next month for reassembly and testing.
Wildwood Car 36 was scraped and cleaned up. All the loose paint and other debris were removed. The car was prepared for movement to the visitor center. Once inside the heated warmth of the visitor center the car can be painted and all hardware and seats reinstalled.

The big lathe in the shop was cleaned up and the electrical system tested and re-energized. With this lathe running we will be able to work on some much needed maintenance. We will also be able to turn some new replacement shafts for our Washington snow sweeper.
We are continuing to move the condition of the collection forward. Many members have volunteered their help so far. We welcome all to join us in preserving this incredible collection of trolleys.
