Sounds interesting ! The NRHS National Board of Directors is meeting the weekend before this event starts in Chicago, so some people may be able to combine both meetings in one trip. Bob H |

Interesting that when you go to the TRAIN website, it shows trips to the Kenosha Trolley and the East Troy RR, neither of which are members of TRAIN. |

There's actually no 2008 TRAIN convention info on the TRAIN website. If you look closely, you'll see that the convention info link simply points you to http://www.trains.com/train2008/ which is the same link Jim posted above. Since Jim has put together what amounts to an entire website for the convention, it doesn't make sense to duplicate the info on the TRAIN website and then have to try and keep it synchronized with the latest information and any updates etc. So I simply added a link to his site. This is different from previous conventions, but then again the previous hosts probably haven't had a full time staff of web design pros at their disposal. |
