Post subject:  Yuma Valley Railroad

For those who have any interest in visiting this Yuma Valley railroad in Arizona. I went to take a train ride and found out operations have been suspended for the year. I was told that the cost of insurance has determined their situation this year. No indication of when they will reoepen has been determined. That same day the state park next to the railroad, which houses an old Army ecampment and water project museum was vandalized, which is unfortuante since the museum displays alot of history of Yuma AZ. The Southern Pacific 2-8-0 is still on site. The city has plans to move the steamer by the old site of the railroad bridge that crossed the Colorado River.
