A Maryland family has approached our Museum with the offer of a switch tower. It seems the tower has been privately owned and has managed to be overlooked by the preservation community. After almost 50 years of preserving the tower, the family is preparing to move and would like to offer the tower to a qualifying preservation group. They are prepared to assist with transportation costs. As a Trolley Museum we have no interest or use for this structure. Further details and specifications can be found at this link. http://dctrolley.org/sandbox1/SwitchTower2.jpg Wesley |
