A photo of a streetcar body located in a field just outside of Anniston, Alabama has been posted on Rail Pictures dot net. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 641&nseq=0

Does anyone out there have any info on this cadaver? Seems to be too far gone for preservation. But the car is a rarity--the roster of Preserved North American Electric Railway Cars shows only five or six cars of similar wood/steel composite construction.

Thanks!

Cars starting worse than this are operating. Well, might be necessary to replace the roof, sides, floor...

At least half the carbody wasn't cut off to add it to a building. This is salvageable.
