A photo of a streetcar body located in a field just outside of Anniston, Alabama has been posted on Rail Pictures dot net. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 641&nseq=0 Does anyone out there have any info on this cadaver? Seems to be too far gone for preservation. But the car is a rarity--the roster of Preserved North American Electric Railway Cars shows only five or six cars of similar wood/steel composite construction. Thanks! |

Cars starting worse than this are operating. Well, might be necessary to replace the roof, sides, floor... |

At least half the carbody wasn't cut off to add it to a building. This is salvageable. dave |
