Sign in one of my favorite places, Flagstaff, Arizona, home of the Lowell Observatory, and where multiple BNSF freights fly by on an hourly basis. Percival Lowell believed he saw, and documented, canals on the surface of Mars from his observatory in town. Perhaps old Percy wasn't a railfan, either.
