Post subject:  Looking for CNJ coach parts

We are searching for brake heads that fit on our circa.1924 ex-CNJ coaches. This is the half-moon shaped part that the brake shoe connects to.The part number on the last of the new ones we have is "Davis H-408-I" date stamped 5/15/81.
Anybody have some they want to sell,or tips on finding them?

Brian

Hello

You may want to contact steamtown (570-340-5200) and talk to the curator's department. Steamtown has a number (two dozen?) of old, derlict CNJ cars that will more then likely never ride the rails again. They are at the museum site and the "off site" at the Tobyhanna army depot.

Hope this helps,

Dave Crosby
