The Newtown Square Historical and Preservation Society of is in the final stages of completing a new railroad museum. It is still looking for a coach circa early 1900's and a small steam switcher for the final display pieces. It already has a box car, a caboose and the center piece is a 1895 PRR freight station.

If any one of the museums represented here has excess equipment of this nature or if any one has some good leads, the information would be greatly appreciated.

A few questions:
1) Where are you located?
2) What condition ... how much work are you planning to put the car on display?
3) Are you a 501-(c)3 ?

Don,

There is equipment closer than you may realize. This observation car may be available but it does require some work to turm it into a static display. Contact the Cape May Seashore Line for more info. It is in private ownership however you may be able to receive it as a donation. It is stored on the Cape May. I have attached a few photos of the car along with its' history.

Thank you for mentioning the Cuyahoga Valley in your posts about GTW 7365, we are proud to have had a part in saving this car and the PRR 7506 from Quaker Square.PRR 1157, 1158 and the former PRR SKYLINE VIEW are still at Quaker Square entombed in the building, with the 1157 & 1158 cut apart to integrate them into a restaraunt.
Since we acquired the 7506 our plans have changed and we would like to find a good home for her.If anyone is interested in a 1914 built Pullman office car please contact me at the above e-mail address.
