I was in Franklin today looking for Gems with my wife. We stopped by the Whistle Stop Mall looking for the 0-4-0t. Anyone know what happen to her? She is no longer there.
Thanks,
Eric

I emailed the Mall and received this response, "We sold it a year or so ago. I'm not exactly sure on its new home, but I believe it is north Florida or maybe in Georgia. The buyers never said where they were taking it. Now we're keeping our eye out for the next one."

This is a rather unique locomotive...It was equipped with "home made" torch cut valve gear. That is, the parts were cut out from plate steel, maybe 1/2" thick or so. After this was installed it either was towed around a good bit now and again or it actually ran that way, can't really imagine the later though.
I know nothing of the history on this engine prior to it's placement at the antique mall.
