If you use the Department Blogs link on the IRM home page, you will get all blogs sorted only by time of entry. Go to the right hand side of the page and as you scroll down you will see a CATEGORY box. Click on Electric Car Department and you can read more gory details courtesy of Joel Arendt.

Our 'department' is not so insular due to almost every group using the woodshop, and an unusual group eager to work on any Musuem project. So, in the BLOG link on the original post in this thread you will see a broader discussion of ongoing work which purpose or personnel cross over the traditional lines.

Maybe that is at it should be.
