A four-meter-gage railroad being proposed for the objective of greater speed sounds a bit misguided.

Surely this is total rubbish.....

The BNSF are involved with a new railway in East Africa using Stevenson gauge. It will run from western Tanzania via Lake Victoria into Uganda.
