A while back I asked where to find EMD builders plate replicas. Thanks to Daniel Calhoun for the heads up on Western Metal and Art. My plates are on the way.

I also am looking for a couple EMD plates that had the model number on therm. They were located on the center sill near the front stepwells and had the letters "GP9" on them. I would like to include a couple of these on my restoration. Western Metal and Art has not made any of these but could if I could provide a sample to them.

Does anyone have any originals for sale, know where I can find replicas, or have an original that you would let us use as a pattern to have replicas produced?

You might want to try ebay for originals, they occasionally come up for sale there and you might get lucky.
