I recently got a Magnavox HDtv and would love to see some hi-def train content, does anyone have any they can recommend? Also does anyone have any Black5videos, they look promising? Thanks |

I can't think of anything besides "Tracks Ahead" which you might catch on certain PBS stations, but it sounds like you're looking for HD home video? So unless an HD channel in your lineup plays content that was originated in hi-def, seeing HD home video would require either a Blu-Ray player or an HD DVD player (the latter being pretty much obsolete at this point). Even public television's "Tracks Ahead," which has been shot in HD for the past few seasons has yet to become available on Blu-ray.
We're in the process of producing a restoration program centered around WW&F Ry No 9 -- it is being shot in HD. We plan to eventually distribute this program on Blu-ray, as well as down-converted letterboxed versions on standard (NTSC) DVD. Stephen |
