Post subject: | Thanks..... |
Just wanted to take a minute to thank Erik, Bob, Hume, and Brian for the class act that RYPN is. On another RR message board the other day, I was reading through some posts where some extremely vicious things were being said back and forth, and without any intervention. I was reminded of how much I appreciate the mediation on the interchange. Given what was being said, I also found myself thankful for all of the posters here at RYPN, and all the things we each bring to the table. This is the reason RYPN is one of the only RR discussion areas on the web where I participate. Thanks again. Seth The Wilmington & Western RR sethajackson@hotmail.com |

Ditto to what Seth has said. I have learned much more by keeping my mouth shut on some issues here and reading what others much more knowledgable than myself have said. The free flow of information on this site is invaluable, especially for those of us who are still very much in the learning phases of historic preservation of rail-related equipment. Thanks too for not getting on those of us who are new to the field for asking what are I'm sure "dumb" questions to many out there. The only way to learn is to both do AND ask I've found. Better to ask and sound dumb then do it wrong and remove all doubt. TJG Port Huron Museum tjgaffney@phmuseum.org |
