For the first time since October 1996, Reading, Blue Mountain, & Northern 4-6-2 #425 is seen pulling a revenue passenger excursion over the former Little Schuylkill Branch of the Ex. Reading Company and then over the Former Central Railroad Of New Jersey's Nesquehoning Division, on their way to Jim Thorpe, Pa. Here's the video I took of this historical event, It's broke up into four parts. In Part Three you see the underneath of 425. and in part Four we do alot of pacing for about three miles in all. Hope you enjoy it, I sure did. Len. Question regarding the Sept 6 train from Jim Thorpe to Pittston. This train will be traveling through the Lehigh Gorge, and passing through White Haven and Laurel Run on its way to Pittston, correct? I just wanted to confirm the route as I'm thinking about riding (not chasing) this train. |

that is correct, and it's a none stop trip, they provide you with a lunch on the train. I'll be riding as well. Len. |
