I have been doing tours in the new Jenson Memorial Car Barn at the WRM.

Some of the comments that you get are pretty amazing; since you get a wide range of people coming for the walks.

Where do you plug the cars in? Is is 110 or 220 volts? Answerr 1200 later 15oo volts on the Sacramento Northern!

The other extreme was the retired Shop worker from the Pacific Electric who imediately picked out the car body of the one Pacific Electric car we have in the collection. And asked if we had gotten it from National Metals; the scrap yard that cut up most of the cars from the PE.

So my advise is bone up on your museum's collection and take your visitors on a tour. You already know a whole lot more than 95% of your visitors. You wull have some fun; and also laugh at some of the amazing things that they do not know about your kind of railroad.

Of course you do your chuckles after the tour!

Hope everyone is having a good summer!
