IRM has the "Trolley Pageant" where you might see 25-30 electric cars, locomotives and work equipment do the loop on the grounds, with a reviewing stand explaining history etc. Sometimes this is the only time of the year when certain, weaker things may run, including wooden L cars and the orange Illinois Terminal cars. |

And tomorrow at IRM we are hosting an outdoor large scale railway group, including 45 mm modular layout with operating overhead trolley wire. Kids love this one. And bigger yet, at noon the re-dedication of newly restored CA&E car 309 on its 100th birthday, including complimentary cake, live music, and rides throughout the day. Bob Kutella |

Old Pueblo Trolley was going to operate a regular Friday through Sunday schedule but today's operations had to be canceled due to damage to the overhead that required repair. As of two days ago, we were told that the next opportunity to get the line repaired would be July 16th due to the operating needs of Tucson Electric Power Company's (TEP) line maintenance department over the next two weeks. As luck would have it, our TEP representative was able to get a truck from TEP and did the overhead repairs this morning. We also determined that there were repairs needed on the pantograph, so our volunteers have begun repairs which should be completed in time for operations Saturday. |
