Is there anywhere one might obtain on video the opening sequence or scenes from Hello Dolly WITHOUT all the opening credits or music? It was on cable a while back and I managed to catch the opening scenes and almost soiled myself at the sight of a PRR steamer dresses up like an NYC(HR) one.

Now, does anyone have that movie without Barbra Streisand in it?

When one considers how much the movie production company probably spent for the train scene, it's more than likely that the film would not have been made without a "bankable" star like Ms. Streisand "above the title". (In case you haven't guessed, I live in the LA Metro area, where dodging film location crews is a major outdoor sport)
This item reminds me of the time I tuned in the 1951 version of "A Streetcar Named Desire". I watched until the scene with the New Orleans streetcar played out and then turned off the TV and went on to other things. When I told my wife (who has a theatrical background) about this episode, she said "Why, that's one of the great dramas in the history of American theater!" Then she said, "Well, we all have our priorities."
