Months ago, two RS3m's and an RS2 were sold off on the hoof-supposedly for repair and resale.

If anyone wants them, contact WAYMORE POWER of IL.

The Lake State also has other Alcos for sale. 4 C425m's and 4 M420's.
Beware of the C425's (2,000 hp) some of them have not seen an overhaul in 25+ years. In addition, some have AC altenators in place of the DC Generators.

The only 'holy relic' of the bunch is the RS2. Although the (4) C425's are all ex-PRR, much of the 'original fabric' is gone.

A related note: The LR&W C420 fleet (two units) is also being retired.

LR&W # 101 is a former LIRR 207 (now chopped-nose)
