Folks, Recently I was thinking about the number of both main line and Interurban seats and hardware that was produced by this I think Chicago company. The seem to have been the major source of seating in the early 1900s. Is there a book about them or perhaps an article on the company? I read recently about an English group restoring a passenger trailer and they paid to bring a set of Hale and Kilburn seats all the way back from Australia! The company must have had quite a catalog of their seats and hardware back in the old days. Has anyone ever seen one on the internet? Ted Miles |
