We have acquired an 85 foot long turntable - complete. We need to acquire at least one 89 foot long flatcar and either a gondola or flatcar for trim and other materials in interchange condition and age. Due to the length of time expected to be needed, a long term loan or donation or swap is needed. Does anyone have any leads on where to start to look for these? Any leads on another museum? Scrapers? Friendly railroads? Thank you in advance. |

I think that the Western Pacific Railroad Museum at Portola has one or more heavy duty (former military flat cars available But I am sure they would want it back! Will the turntable you are building go at the museum's Campo site or someplace else? Ted Miles |

Can you tell use where the turntable is coming from, what railroad and location, or what other museum? Anything else you can add, such as its builder an date of construction would also be appreciated. |
