Post subject:  GP-7 or 9 being scrapped

I read in one of the posts in the past week or 2 of either a GP-7 or 9 being Scrapped. Does anyone know who is doing this and how to get ahold of them? Or anyone else who has a unit that needs a new life? Can be a GP anything. We don't need anything under the long hood.(but would consider it if it's all there) Thanks.

I believe you are referring to a post from yesterday by JJ "The Man" within the D-Day scrapping thread about a NYC GP9 that is being scrapped by CNY Chapter NRHS in Syracuse because it can't be moved 10 miles bcause of the FRA, after being moved from Chicago to Syracuse. Not sure how that computes.
