Post subject:  Story on the "Low Grade Line"

It looks like NS is getting out from under the Low Grade and from the looks of it they will be tearing out a number of bridges. Since they have given it to a number of localities and are tearing out bridges I doubt that the right of way will ever make it to a new life as a trail. Does anyone else have more information?

Any idea which bridges they mean? I'd sure hate to see the Safe Harbor and Martic Forge trestles torn down, but if they stay up, they'll have to be maintained and that'll cost. The other bridges I can think of are roads over the railroad. And then there are the underpasses, beautiful stone work but too narrow to be practical with modern traffic.
