From Mid-Continent's web site: As of August 23 and until further notice, train operations have been suspended due to mechanical failure of our only operable locomotive. |

Update Mid-Continent's Manager's Blog: Quote: For once the problem is not flood related; just age. The sixty-five year old electrical components have rebelled against their constant use in road service. And it will be another quiet week before we have the right personnel on the property who can diagnose the problem and effect a repair – one of the dynamics of managing a volunteer operation.
