according to the folks at the Illinois Railway Museum; this is the only surviving locomotive that was run by Casey Jones. The museum paid a lot of money for her and I hope that she can go indoors during the winters and stay outdoors in the summers! IRM seems to be the US champion at building car barns. I think they have ten of them, with another in the works. Museums can best preserve their equipment by getting them indoors, especially in the winter. Ted Miles |
