| Post subject: | Temporary Paint |
I tried searching last night, as I could have sworn I read about it on here, but wasn't having much luck. Does anyone know of any easy ways to "black out" markings on say a steam engine tender? Or to re-create the black-out of logos and names as was done in the 1970s (PC and CR)? And this would have to be of a temporary nature and easily removable. Something similar to what they do with cars and helicopters for movies. Thanks, Tom |

When we were doing movie work at Mid-Continent back in the 80's, we used painted magnetic sheets to cover tender markings, and apply temporary markings. |
