Hey guys...so my grandfather used to have this video that I particularly enjoyed and I've been trying to find it, but without a title or name of publisher, everything's a stab in the dark, so I thought maybe you guys could help me out... This video started out following a Southern steam engine...I wanna say it was 722. It had 2 Southern diesels trailing it. There was a part where it stopped at some celebration and there was a marching band playing. Then later on in the video, there was footage of CP 2839 at one point speedin along at 80mph! After that, I think there was a little section on the Strasburg Railroad, but I'm not sure. That's all I have to go on...last time I saw the video, I was 12, so about 13 years ago. If this rings a bell to anyone, let me know...thank you, guys! |

definitely from the 1979 Washington DC NRHS Convention. Probably Hopewell Productions' Capitol Limited '79. I know that tape had a Strasburg interlude on it. Looks like it is still available at O-Gauge Railroading.
