Found this on Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

Some of the BC&G's equipment, as well as that of its sister railroad the Elk River Coal & Lumber Co. have been preserved, some in operating condition.

BC&G Consolidation #4 is owned by the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, North Carolina. It operated in tourist service until a couple of years ago. It is now undergoing a complete restorations. BC&G Consolidation #13 is owned by the Ohio Central and ran in excursion service a number of years ago. Consolidation #14 is on static display in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

ERC&L Shay #19 is on display in Ohio. Climax #3 is owned by the Roaring Camp and Big Trees Railroad in California, but is not servicable.

The ERC&L's American log loader and bobber logging caboose are both restored and on display at the Cass Scenic Railroad State Park in Cass, West Virginia.

Is number 13 still serviceable on the Ohio Central? She sure is a good looking locomotive. And even has Indiana ties no less!

As of 2002 the 13 wasn't running.

Here's the 13 at Logansport when on the Logansport & Eel River Railroad as their Number 1.

Interesting stuff - I'd never seen pictures of it at Logansport before.

I saw the 13 at Train Fest in '04. she looked great in BC&G garb. IIRC, she needs running gear work.

Keith -

Great picture! Now, does anyone have a photo of number 13 when she was numbered 1977 and lettered for the New York Central when in tourist train service out of Middlebury, Indiana in the late 1970's? I believe she carried a headlight and number plate off of NYC 2-8-2 #1977 at that time.
